NABJ Convention 2013

About a month ago I visited Orlando for the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) Convention. I spent the week covering the convention, networking with editors and photographers, and reconnecting with many of my dad’s friends from his years at the Washington Post. I also got to work on an enterprise project on a free tennis program for underprivileged youth. It was quite an experience, and I will definitely apply for the student project again next year.
